Day 1 of applesauce last Wednesday and I got 13 quarts (plus a bowl for dinner). I love the feeling of accomplishment when I look at all the jars lined up on the counter. The kids actually like to help with applesauce, so I will be doing more another day when they are home. In the mean time, I picked pears today, am on the search for peaches, and have salsa on the horizon.

Applesauce, Day 1
Day 1 of applesauce last Wednesday and I got 13 quarts (plus a bowl for dinner). I love the feeling of accomplishment when I look at all the jars lined up on the counter.
