Tasty Tuesday is back! I was really excited last week to find out that one of my favorite recipes will be published in an upcoming Gooseberry Patch Cookbook. I LOVE the Gooseberry Patch line of cookbooks. They have great everyday recipes from everyday people. I use many of their books for all the gift mixes that I make. They are going to send me a copy of the cookbook with my recipe featured inside, but since it's called Homemade Christmas, I'm guessing I will be waiting a bit. I won't make you wait that long, so here is my favorite bread machine recipe. I try not to make it very often, because I will eat the whole thing......in one sitting!
Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup sour cream
3 cups better for bread flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
Cheesy garlic mix:
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 tbsp minced dried onion
2 tsp granulated garlic
1 1/2 cups shredded Colby jack cheese
In bread machine, add the first 7 ingredients, in order. Select dough setting. When finished, mix the cheesy mix together. Turn dough onto floured surface, cover for 10 minutes. Pull bread by handfuls and dip into cheese mix, place in a greased, fluted pan. Cover and let rise for 45 mintues. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

What is the cheesy garlic mix? Is it something you buy, or can you make it?
The bread is very tasty, I must say! Congrats on being "published!"
Sorry Tiff, I didn't make that clear. It's the following ingredients. Does it make sense now?
Congrats on being included in Homemade Christmas...we're so glad to have this delicious recipe.
