This dorky picture of Dan and I was taken while on a zip line tour on Maui. I'm afraid of heights, but loved the zip lines. It takes a bit of courage to take that first run off the platform, and I was not brave enough to hang upside down, but it really wasn't scary. We were zipping over a ravine that wasn't that deep, and I felt secure in my harness. I think the ride up the hill in the van on rough roads was the worst part of the day. (It's so bad they make you wear your helmets on the ride up!) I liked the zip line tour and would do one again, maybe the jungle one next time.
